Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby and Darke County is a volunteer non-profit, social service program that has been serving Shelby County since 1977 and Darke County since 1993.

Throughout our history, our mission has remained steadfast...
"To help boys and girls achieve their full potential through one-to-one mentoring relationships with carefully screened and caring adults."

Today, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County is serving more children than ever with innovative programming that will impact our community on an even larger scale. By becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister, you can do the same for a child. And you will both be forever changed by the experience.

July 18, 2010 - Big Brothers Big Sisters Included in the American Express Members Project Supporters can go online to vote for Big Brothers Big Sisters to receive funding from American Express. Every three months, the five charities that receive the highest number of votes will be chosen to each receive $200,000 in funding from American Express. Supporters can vote once per week.
