Adopt a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby and Darke County duck and if yours is the first to cross the finish line, you’ll win a $1000.00 Shopping Spree!!

Adoptions are only $5.00 for each duck, or a Daffy Dozen (6 ducks – that’s why they’re daffy!!) for $25!

Official Rules:

  1. A maximum of 5000 ducks will be launched near the North St. Bridge by Julia Lamb Stadium. The first duck across the finish line will be the Grand Prize Winner.
  2. Your duck number will be sent to you the week prior to the race. Ducks are the property of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby and Darke County.

  3. Once the ducks are launched, they are on their own. No attempt by unauthorized bystanders to free or interfere with any duck will be permitted.
  4. Winners will be notified by telephone if not present. Winners have 30 days to claim prizes.
  5. Prizes will be awarded as stated. No substitutions allowed and some restrictions may apply on the Grand Prize.
  6. The decision of the judges will be final.
  7. Members of the Daffy Derby 2008 Committee, Board Members and paid staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters are not eligible to enter.
